ARTSTAR
The parallel histories of Jazz music and hollow-body electric guitars have been manifested in the Artstar. The influences of these legendary instruments are immediately apparent with bone nut, ebony fretboard, and Ibanez's signature Super 58 custom pickups. The critical eye will appreciate the details like the smoothness of the fretboard and a skilled crimping technique generally found on instruments costing twice as much. The Artstar is a pure jazz-box that embodies the continual innovation that is Jazz.

Gibraltar Artist Bridge
The Gibraltar Artist bridge, made of a light weight Aluminum bridge frame and Zinc saddles, provides natural tone, rich sustain and tuning stability. The low positioned saddles promise comfortable playability.

Our Perspective:
This Bluesboy was custom spec'd by George's Music Center to capture the excitement of a slightly modified T-Style guitar of the 60's. But of course we kept the playability of a modern day guitar. It sports a 9.5" radius and medium-jumbo frets and a great neck profile. The pick-ups are a perfect marriage, a G&L ASAT bridge pick-up and a Seymour Duncan Seth Lover mounted in a "Green Guard"…another 60's appointment!! The 3-Tone Sunburst finish, green-guard, White binding and rosewood fingerboard is a combination that will inspire just about any fan of the T-Style guitar.
