Legacy HSS

Our Perspective:
OK, this guitar was custom spec'd by George's Music Center to invoke the emotion for a 1950's S-Style guitar. Think Buddy Holly to Buddy Guy and then some. The alder body, maple neck and fingerboard have all the ass any guitar player is looking for, but now add the HSS configuration mounted into a single-ply white fingerboard, just to keep the authentic 50's theme going and you might call this a sleeper!! This is not exactly your Fathers guitar! The tone of this guitar goes from classic 50's to modern high-gain and the playability is all performance! With its 9.5" radius, medium-jumbo frets and classic neck profile, all players will feel right at home on this Modern Classic!!

Weighing in at: 8 LBS.

Overview:
The G&L Legacy HSS fattens things up with a G&L AW4370 alnico bridge humbucker to complement the vintage alnico G&L CLF-100 single coils in the neck and middle positions. Masterminded by G&L VP Engineering Paul Gagon, the Legacy HSS has that ideal balance that’ll let it play well in a variety of settings, and its splittable bridge humbucker will does a convincing job as a single coil with rich, ringing harmonics.

The Legacy HSS brings all of the Legacy features, starting with Leo’s PTB™ (Passive Treble and Bass) system which functions on all three pickups for dramatically more variety than the vintage setup, while the volume pot has a push/pull coil-split for the bridge humbucker. What’s more, the Legacy HSS features a Leo Fender-designed Dual-Fulcrum vibrato, a work of engineering art which allows bending up or down with unsurpassed stability, while offering a silky feel through its beefy aluminum vibrato arm. The Legacy HSS's hard-rock maple neck features an easy-playing satin finish, comfortable 9 1/2" radius and Jescar 57110 medium-jumbo nickel-silver frets for silky playability. The moment you open the luxurious hardshell case, you’ll be greeted with a stunning instrument and delicious aroma that’ll have your pulse racing.

If you’re looking for that extra power to properly rock the house but you don’t want your classic Elvis to leave the building, then you owe it to yourself to check out the Legacy HSS.

Legacy HSS

Our Perspective:
This guitar was spec’d by George’s Music Center for the guitarist that wants to kick some A** in the mix! The alder body and maple fingerboard gives the right amount cut but with plenty of round fat tone! We chose to go with the Duncan JB TB4 humbucker as its so familiar to so many of us! This guitar will not disappoint!

ASAT Classic Bluesboy Semi-Hollow

Our Perspective:
This semi-hollow Bluesboy is an exceptional guitar, playability, looks, feel and most importantly - Tone! This guitar will not disappoint!!

Weighing in at: 7.33 LBS.

Overview:
The G&L ASAT® Classic Bluesboy™ is a factory-modded version of Leo’s final word on the traditional single-cutaway bolt-on axe, and the semi-hollow version takes it further with G&L’s distinctive twin voice chambers and f-hole added to a beautiful swamp ash body.. For players looking for the unmistakable warmth of a classic humbucker in the neck position, the Bluesboy delivers with a well-balanced pairing of a G&L A2S4248N Alnico II magnet humbucker and a single-coil G&L Magnetic Field Design™ bridge pickup designed by Leo Fender†. Framed in a classic boxed-steel bridge, the single-coil MFD™ bridge pickup delivers crisp attack with complex harmonics while individual brass saddles offer modern levels of intonation refinement. Flip to the neck ‘bucker and you’ll discover all the charismatic warmth you could ask for. Put ‘em together and you’ll find yourself immersed in exploring the limits of this guitar’s surprising versatility. The semi-hollow body brings a certain “hi-fi” quality to the tone, softening the attack and slightly scooping the mids for accentuated highs and lows.

The Bluesboy’s hard-rock maple neck features an easy-playing satin finish, comfortable 9 1/2" radius and Jescar 57110 medium-jumbo nickel-silver frets for silky playability. The moment you open the luxurious Tolex hardshell case, you’ll be greeted with a stunning instrument and delicious aroma that’ll have your pulse racing.

Founded by Leo Fender in 1980, G&L USA instruments continue to be made in the historic G&L facility on Fender Avenue in Fullerton, California, the Birthplace of Bolt-on™.

ASAT Classic Bluesboy

Our Perspective:
This Bluesboy was custom spec'd by George's Music Center to capture the excitement of a slightly modified T-Style guitar of the 60's. But of course we kept the playability of a modern day guitar. It sports a 9.5" radius and medium-jumbo frets and a great neck profile. The pick-ups are a perfect marriage, a G&L ASAT bridge pick-up and a Seymour Duncan Seth Lover mounted in a "Green Guard"…another 60's appointment!! The 3-Tone Sunburst finish, green-guard, White binding and rosewood fingerboard is a combination that will inspire just about any fan of the T-Style guitar.

DGT

Our Perspective:
PRS never ceases to amaze us. This DGT is perfection. While it is NOT a “10 Top” it has an amazing top and this is great news for you - you save $600.00!!! Its a perfect weight and notes just jump off the dark rosewood fingerboard. This one won’t last long!

Weighing in at: 7 1/2 LBS.

Vintage Tone Out Of The Box

DGT
The DGT (David Grissom Trem) is the result of more than 20 years of collaboration between Paul Smith and David Grissom. The DGT is based on the McCarty with a unique DGT neck shape, taller frets, special pickups, and a revised control layout. Grissom and Paul spent a year A/B-ing more than forty sets of pickups before nailing the vintage-voice of DGT humbuckers. When paired with individual volume controls for each pickup and a push/pull master tone control that operates the coil taps, DGT pickups provide versatility and articulation.
“The DGT is a product a lot of miles down the road: a lot of gigs, a lot of records. It’s like picking up a vintage guitar. It sounds like a vintage guitar, and out of the box it’s ready to go. There’s a whole lot of thought gone into this. The DGT is pretty perfect to me.” – David Grissom
