Fender American Standard Telemaster - 2016 - Used

American Standard Telemaster

Our Perspective:
This guitar just arrived from its original owner. The guitar is in great condition with hardly a mark in the finish. Actually, we can not see any marks at all! It has been lightly played and very well taken care of! Comes with the original G&G case. This won’t last long!

Consignment Sale, as such, All Sales Final!

From the Internet:
The highly sought after "Telemaster" shape will once again come into production by Fender, with a limited edition 25-piece run to be made.

It is the first time that the shape hasn’t been made by the Custom Shop, and will be introduced at a slightly more accessible price point of around US$1500. The run will be exclusive to Make’n Music in the United States, and all 25 guitars will be in the butterscotch blonde finish.

“Ever since the first official Fender “Telemaster-style” electric guitar was ordered by Make’n Music back in 2005 and delivered in 2008, this unique Jazzmaster / Telecaster Hybrid design became an instant classic – Coveted by Offset lovers everywhere,” says Make’n Music.

“It has long been our hope to bring this traditionally “Custom Shop only” offering to USA production for a more player friendly price point. We couldn’t be happier with how they turned out!”

The guitar features a Custom Shop Twisted Tele single-coil pickup in the neck position and a vintage-style Custom Shop Telecaster single-coil pickup in the bridge position, medium jumbo frets, a maple neck, a three-way pickup selector and volume and tone control. Here's to hoping we might them in Australia soon.

Fender is guided by one clear, simple directive: make life better for musicians. While the original Telecaster certainly did that (and then some), we weren’t content to rest on our laurels. Our team of mad scientists examined every component in near-microscopic detail. If we were able to improve it with a new design or modern materials we did; if it didn’t need improvement, we left it alone. When the wood chips and solder fumes settled, what was left was the American Professional Telecaster—everything you need to play your best. Now for a limited time available with an all rosewood neck.
