ASAT Classic Bluesboy
Our Perspective:
This Bluesboy was custom spec'd by George's Music Center to capture the excitement of a slightly modified T-Style guitar of the 60's. But of course we kept the playability of a modern day guitar. It sports a 9.5" radius and medium-jumbo frets and a great neck profile. The pick-ups are a perfect marriage, a G&L ASAT bridge pick-up and a Seymour Duncan Seth Lover mounted in a "Green Guard"…another 60's appointment!! The 3-Tone Sunburst finish, green-guard, White binding and rosewood fingerboard is a combination that will inspire just about any fan of the T-Style guitar.
Weighing in at: 8.6 LBS.
Overview:
The G&L ASAT® Classic Bluesboy™ is a factory-modded version of Leo’s final word on the traditional single-cutaway bolt-on axe. For players looking for the unmistakable warmth of a classic humbucker in the neck position, the Bluesboy delivers with a well-balanced pairing of a Seymour Duncan Seth Lover alnico humbucker and a single-coil G&L Magnetic Field Design™ bridge pickup designed by Leo Fender†. Framed in a classic boxed-steel bridge, the single-coil MFD™ bridge pickup delivers crisp attack with complex harmonics while individual brass saddles offer modern levels of intonation refinement. Flip to the neck ‘bucker and you’ll discover all the charismatic warmth you could ask for. Put ‘em together and you’ll find yourself immersed in exploring the limits of this guitar’s surprising versatility.
The Bluesboy’s hard-rock maple neck features an easy-playing satin finish, comfortable 9 1/2" radius and Jescar 57110 medium-jumbo nickel-silver frets for silky playability. The moment you open the luxurious hardshell case, you’ll be greeted with a stunning instrument and delicious aroma that’ll have your pulse racing.

L-2000
Our Perspective:
Custom Spec’d by George’s Music Center
We ordered this classic bass with very simple appointments. Vintage white adorned with a rosewood fingerboard. - Elegance in Simplicity!!
Weight: 9 lbs.
Overview:
When Leo Fender† launched the G&L L-2000™ bass in 1980, it was clear he was ready to make history all over again. Never before had such a wide range of tones come from a single bass, and throughout its evolution the iconic L-2000 has continued to win the hearts of bassists of every style and musical taste.
The foundation of the L-2000 is a pair of G&L Magnetic Field Design™ humbuckers backed by the flexible Tri-Tone™ control system, providing the sort of versatility that’ll let you find your tone no matter what kind of bass line you’re laying down. The Tri-Tone system features a trio of mini toggles for pickup selection, series/parallel signal routing and active/passive operation, as well as a trio of knobs for volume, treble and bass. With all that under the hood, Leo gave the L-2000 the kind of chops that’ll fit in any situation, from classic R&B to power-packed rock to poppin’ funk. What’s more, the L-2000 features an innovative Leo Fender-designed Saddle-Lock™ bridge to transfer string energy right into the body end-grain for an incredibly resonant instrument. On the other end is a comfortable, C-shaped neck checking in with a comfortable 9 1/2" radius and 21 Jescar 57110 medium-jumbo nickel-silver frets ready to deliver silky playability.
Made in Leo Fender’s historic G&L facility on Fender Avenue in Fullerton, California, the L-2000 is available with a wide range of custom options including body and neck woods, body and neck finishes, and neck profiles.

Overview:
The Return of the LB-100
The G&L LB-100 made its debut twenty years ago in response to bassists asking for a subtle evolution of the p-style platform. With a slightly streamlined body shape for improved comfort and balance, the LB-100 also brought the G&L Saddle Lock bridge for richer note definition and sustain. In the late ‘90s tastes were changing and the popularity of the p-style platform waned, and the LB-100 was discontinued.
In those years the G&L LB-100 earned legions of avid fans, among them Garry Beers of INXS. According to Garry:
“I’ve been a diehard Precision Bass fan since I was a kid, and as my career took off with INXS I was fortunate to be able to collect some amazing examples made in the ‘50s and ‘60s. Of course, there’s my number one Fender, a 1958 p-bass which I dearly love. However, the truth is the best p-type basses I’ve played are my G&L LB-100s. The shape, feel, and tone are just superb. I’m excited to see the LB-100 return after all these years.” – Garry Beers of INXS
While the tone remains unchanged, thanks to a faithful recreation of the original LB-100 Alnico V pickup wound in-house at G&L, playability is enhanced with Plek fret processing making this LB-100 the best yet.
Made in Leo Fender’s historic G&L facility on Fender Avenue in Fullerton, California, the LB-100 is now available with a wide range of custom options including body and neck woods, body and neck finishes, neck profiles and pickguard materials.

Fallout
Overview:
Post-Punk Radiation Morphs Leo Fender's SC-2
What would an ’83 G&L SC-2™ be if Leo Fender recreated it for today’s scene? The crew at G&L think it would be a lot like the new Fallout. After all, when inspiration comes from original G&L SC guitars modded by the likes of Devo’s Mark and Bob Mothersbaugh and Band Of Susans’ Robert Poss, there are lots of cues to follow.
The SC-2 was born as a cool looking, comfortable and light axe that could be thrashed mercilessly and not miss a beat. Fallout keeps those qualities in the mix but branches out to cover today’s sophisticated textures and tones.
Fallout shares the original Leo Fender-designed SC-2 body shape, comfortable, sustain-rich G&L Saddle Lock bridge and easy-playing medium-C-shape neck with a 12” radius and medium-jumbo frets.
From dirty riffs to jangly hooks, the G&L Tribute Series Fallout delivers with a great pairing of Paul Gagon-designed Alnico pickups: a gorgous P-90 and meaty humbucker splittable via a push/pull tone pot.
The look transcends the SC-2’s simplicity with a sweeping pickguard that complements the body shape perfectly. Balancing out the aesthetics is a sleeker interpretation of the ‘80s-era G&L headstock shape designed exclusively for the Fallout.

ASAT Classic Alnico
Our Perspective:
Custom Ordered by George's Music Center. We ordered this beautiful Fullerton Red ASAT Classic Alnico with a mint green guard, 9.5” radius and rosewood fingerboard. This guitar is a pleasure to play. - Looks and tone to spare!
Weight: 8 lbs.
Overview:
While the G&L ASAT® Classic is Leo’s final word on the traditional single-cutaway bolt-on axe with its Magnetic Field Design single-coil pickups, the new ASAT Classic Alnico has arrived to blend latter-day-Leo with uncompromising Alnico sonic flavor. Framed in a classic boxed-steel bridge, the single-coil Alnico V bridge pickup belts out meaty twang that that’ll stop you in your tracks, while individual brass saddles Leo upgraded for the ASAT Classic offer modern levels of intonation refinement. Flip to the Alnico V neck pickup and you’ll discover our spec offers a fuller tone that leaves those anemic old pickups in the dust. What’s more, the two pickups pair beautifully for an exceptionally sweet, jangly tone bursting with harmonics.
These Alnico wonders aren’t just another flavor-of-the-week, having been carefully refined by G&L's Paul Gagon for personal guitars since the late 1970s. Back then, Gagon was an R&D engineer at another company when he was tasked with finding out what was so special about the early bolt-on guitars many players raved about. Gagon analyzed many examples of what were considered "holy grail" guitars, spending time out on the shop floor talking to builders still working in the pickup department since the ‘50s, all on a quest to discover where the real mojo was – and wasn’t. What he learned from the builders matched his own engineering analysis. You see, back in the day, the actual spec of pickups coming that down that old production line varied considerably. Moreover, that nagging imbalance between bridge and neck pickup was something he longed to improve on, and today, Gagon’s preferred pairing of Alnico V pickups has arrived to delight the ears of the discerning guitarists.
Like the G&L Legacy, the new ASAT Classic Alnico combines best-of Alnico tone with modern Leo touches for a brilliant blend of vintage and contemporary. If Alnico is your flavor, you owe it to yourself to experience what three decades of passionate development have achieved.
To commemorate the initial production of these Alnico pickups, G&L has commissioned a special 100-instrument production of ASAT Classic Alnico Launch Edition guitars. The Launch Edition features a Sugar Pine body and coated in a gorgeous new Autumn Burst finish developed by veteran G&L painter, Malcolm McLamore. The combination of a Sugar Pine body and Alnico magnet pickups harkens back to early prototype instruments created by Leo Fender, yet the Launch Edition isn’t a time-warp instrument: this is a thoughtful remix that blends the best of old-school Leo with 21st century G&L quality and playability including Plek fret processing.

The hand-wound ALNICO single-coil pickups will deliver the authentic tones that we all love! - Simple Build - Outstanding Tone -Great Price!!
Weight: 8 lbs.
Overview:
The G&L Legacy™ blends contemporary refinements from the Leo Fender†-designed S-500™ and Comanche® models with classic Alnico V pickups. If your holy grail is faithful Alnico single-coil tone with modern refinements and superb craftsmanship, the Legacy makes for an excellent choice.
The Legacy’s vintage-spec CLF-100 Alnico V pickups have that unmistakable chime and quack reminiscent of the best examples from the late ‘50s, thanks to the work of Paul Gagon, G&L VP Engineering. Gagon found his inspiration reviewing original prints stored in Leo’s private laboratory at G&L, but that was just the start. About 30 years ago, Gagon was an R&D engineer at another company when he was tasked with finding out what was so special about the early bolt-on guitars many players raved about. Gagon tirelessly analyzed many examples of what were considered holy grail guitars, spending time out on the shop floor talking to builders still working in the pickup department since the ‘50s, all on a quest to discover where the real mojo was – and wasn’t. What he learned from the builders matched his own engineering analysis. You see, back in the day, the actual spec of pickups coming that down that old production line varied considerably. That meant coming up with the right specs for the Legacy pickups was more challenging than simply following the prints. Gagon’s persistence paid off as the Legacy garnered rave reviews from both players and magazines like Guitar Player and Guitar World.
This axe is no slave to the past, however, starting with Leo’s PTB™ (Passive Treble and Bass) system which functions on all three pickups for dramatically more variety than the vintage setup. What’s more, the Legacy features a Leo Fender-designed Dual-Fulcrum vibrato, a work of engineering art which allows bending up or down with unsurpassed stability, while offering a silky feel through its beefy aluminum vibrato arm. The Legacy’s hard-rock maple neck features an easy-playing satin finish, comfortable 9 1/2" radius and Jescar 57110 medium-jumbo nickel-silver frets for silky playability. The moment you open the luxurious hardshell case, you’ll be greeted with a stunning instrument and delicious aroma that’ll have your pulse racing.
