SVT-CL Bass Head

OFTEN COPIED, NEVER SURPASSED!
The harmonically rich sound and legendary performance of the Ampeg SVT are redefined in the SVT Classic. This dynamically powerful all-tube bass amp delivers a thunderous 300-Watts of unsurpassed quality, reliability and tonal flexibility. Although other companies have tried to capture the classic all-tube sound of ’60s and ’70s Ampeg bass heads, no one can touch the SVT.

Classic Series Heads are designed for players who are looking for the authentic, vintage Ampeg tube sound that has earned the respect of the industry. With a huge and diverse group of artists endorsements, including George Clinton (P-Funk), Gene Simmons (KISS), Dave "Phoenix" Farrell (Linkin Park), and far too many others to list here, the SVT-CL is a clear favorite. In the world of high performance bass amps it stands head and shoulders above the rest.

SVT-410HLF BASS ENCLOSURE

VERSATILE, HIGH FIDELITY PERFORMANCE.
This is the speaker cabinet for the bass player who demands the ultimate in a single, compact cabinet setup. The SVT-410HLF delivers devastating low-end bass, all the way down to 28Hz, thanks to four 10” speakers working together to move a tremendous amount of air. The SVT-410HLF actually moves 10% more air than two 18-inch speakers, and 25% more than three 15-inch speakers! And those leviathans simply can’t respond to transient peaks as quickly as four tens can.

The SVT-410HLF also delivers superb top-end, thanks to its 1” horn driver, strategically crossed over at 4kHz. This is a favorite enclosure for such artists as Meshell Ndegeocello, John McVie of Fleetwood Mac, and Ricky Skaggs’ bass player, Mark Fain.

The Ampeg SVT-410HLF is the supreme speaker enclosure for the multi-string bass player seeking both superior power handling and true high-fidelity performance.

Carr Impala 44 Watt 1x12 Combo Slub/Black USA

$2640.00

image

Impala 1x12

Overview:

The Impala is one of those very rare amps that can do it all. From sweet glassy clean tones to pushed, in your face, American overdrive – you will find it here.

The control panel is deceptively simple with its ultra wide range Volume control the star.

At lower settings the Impala stays in the 60s American clean voice while taking the volume past 3 o’clock brings in heightened pre amp toothy overdrive. The Master Volume allows you to dial in the right amount of power tube thickness and overall loudness.

Amazing with pedals due to its wonderful solidity and openness!!

Specs:

  • 6L6 Class AB ------------------------- Punch
  • 44 Clean Watts - Max 55 Watts ---------- Power
  • All Tube Reverb ----------------------- Lush
  • Wide Range Volume Control ------------- Sweet/Nasty
  • Slow Taper Reverb Pot ------------------ Smooth
  • Super Usable Master Volume ------------- Control
  • Floating 60s Style Baffle ----------------- Dimension
  • Truly Hand Wired --------------------- Tough
  • Carr Elsinore Speaker ------------------- Dynamic
  • Custom Transformers ------------------- USA
  • Anywhere you are – the Impala is the ride of choice!

Controls:

  • Volume – Adjusts the loudness and drive of the amplifier. The Impala has an extended range volume control and you will find you can sweep from sweet and clean to very distorted.
  • Treble – Varies the top end from dark to bright.
  • Mid – Varies the midrange frequencies and is very interactive with the Treble control. For a 60s American tone, set the Mid to the ‘68’. The tone becomes more aggressive as you advance the Mid past 1 o’clock. When the Mid is set near full, the Treble control’s effect is more subtle.
  • Bass – Varies the low end from lean to full. To retain clarity, turn the Bass down at higher volumes.
  • Reverb – Controls the amount of reverb sound from none to deep and lush. The Impala uses an audio taper pot for reverb. The effect is very subtle till you hit 12 o’clock on the dial allowing great control over the amount of reverb.
  • Master – The interface between the pre amp and the power amp on the Impala. For the cleanest sound, set the Master to Full and set the Volume control low. For thicker clean tones, set the Master to 11 o’clock and the Volume to 12 o’clock. For overdriven tones, set the Volume to 3 o’clock or higher and set the Master to the desired listening level. Higher Master settings will bring in more output section overdrive when the Volume is set high.
  • Standby – Set the amp to Standby (switch baton down) before turning on the power switch (see On-Off-On below). After 1 minute of warm up, switch the Standby baton up. The amp is ready to be played. Using the Standby switch every time the amp is turned on will prolong tube life. Note: the Impala uses a very large pre amp power supply capacitor – it will take about 45 seconds for the pre amp to come up to full volume once Standby is in Play.
  • On – Off – On – Selects between two ON positions and the OFF position (middle). The two ON’s are wired in opposite phase of each other. If you receive a shock from another piece of equipment (a microphone or another amp) that is not properly grounded, or if you hear static, switching to the opposite ON may solve the problem. This is sometimes called “switching polarity”.

  • Width: 24 1/4"
  • Height: 17 1/4"
  • Depth: 9 1/2"

The Lincoln concept started with a mint 1964 AC10 we purchased from a collector in England. There is a vibe - an attitude - a nagging simplicity to this semi-obscure amp. So our journey began. Carr Mercury 1x12 8 Watt Combo - USA - Used

$2199.00

image

Mercury

Our Perspective:
This pristine Mercury just came in on consignment from one of our best customers. It has very few hours on it, the original owner is a home player, so this amp has never left his home and was only occasionally played at low volumes in his home. Comes with the original box and manual!!

Consignment sale, as such, ALL SALES FINAL!!

Overview:
The Mercury inspires visions of a classic cabinet design from a time long ago, but within the chassis of the Mercury you'll discover an inspiring and truly innovative circuit (along with utterly remarkable tone). While it is true that your friends, band mates and family members will admire the Mercury for its good looks and 'polite' power rating, Mercury owners seem to cherish our newest amp for many other practical reasons. Our exclusive power attenuating circuit enables the Mercury to be played at 8, 2, 1/2 and only 1/10 watts, with no appreciable change in tone, yet the Mercury easily yields enough clean headroom for club work. Add our renowned reverb circuit, a 3-position boost switch for subtle-to-intense output tube distortion, plus the incomparably thick and rich tone of a single EL-34 power tube, and the Mercury will earn its rightful place among your most treasured instruments.

Our new Mini-Mercury has the same electronics as the standard 1x12" Mercury but differs in its smaller cabinet and its warm and smoky 10 inch Eminence Lil Buddy hemp cone speaker. The cabinet measures a friendly 19.5" wide by 15" tall by 10" deep at the bottom sloping to 9" deep on the top. This is 2 inches shorter and 1 3/4 inches narrower than the standard 1x12" Mercury making it very compact.

Features:

  • Class A
  • Single-ended fixed bias EL-34 output stage
  • Single channel: bass, treble, reverb
  • 3-position boost switch
  • Treble cut switch
  • Built in 4 position attenuator (8, 2, 1/2, 1/10 watt)
  • Mercury 1x12 combo

Specifications:

  • Power: 8, 2, 1/2, 1/10 watts
  • Tubes: 2 12AX7, 1 12AT7, 1 EL34
  • Channels: 1
  • Controls: Volume, Treble, Bass, Reverb
  • Switches: 3-position Boost, Treble Cut, 4-position Output Power

Carr Rambler 28/14 Watt 1x12 Combo Black USA

$2530.00

Rambler 1X12

Overview:
Long before the birth of Carr Amplifiers, I spent years playing, repairing, modifying and intently listening to classic guitar amps. The Rambler was one of my earliest signature designs, and today it is still one of our most popular models. Why? It's no accident that the Rambler succeeds in delivering classic American 'deluxe' tone with dramatically expanded clean headroom, solid bass response and the option of 28 watt pentode or 14 watt triode operation. The Rambler simply reflects my desire to improve and refine the original concept of an appropriately powered 1x12 club amp with reverb and tremolo. Rambler owners describe their amps as being warm, full and round, with a surprisingly high threshold of clean tone, (which also makes the Rambler uniquely suited to virtually any overdrive pedal ever built). The Rambler is considered by many to be the quintessential club amp, voiced to meet the needs of virtually any player, and all types of music.
